Cooper, and american bulldog mix and Rexie is a cane corso.
Coopy is sweet and loving and kissy huggy lovey, but not the smartest! He loves every person he meets, every human is his best friend that he mauls with love. Rexie is all that and a box of chocolates. She is a whole lot more discriminating as to who gets rexie love and who doesnt, a momma's girl, intelligent and handsome. She is also a very intense girly and can be a handful when she sets her mind to something. |

hi, I have Snowie a long coat white gsd she's four now, she's a very special girl in my eyes. She had a litter a little under six months ago and when her pups were 3 weeks old I got a phone call from the vets saying he'd got 3 pups that were two weeks old there that had had there mum stolen and could I try and get Snowie to foster them, Snowie has allways had a very good maternal instinct as when my cat was pregnant she had a phantom pregnancy herself so when the cat had her kittens Snowie thought they were hers and would lie and let them suckle from her which believe it or not the cat didn't mind.Well anyway to cut a long story short I picked up the 3 pups and brought them home, Snowie was amazing within 2 hours she had picked each of them up and put them in her bed with her pups and was feeding them all, which leads me on to Tyson he's a Akita x gsd and one of the pups Snowie adopted he is 5 months old now and a little darling.
Then I've got Bruno a short haired white gsd he's just turned 2 and is the daftist dog I've ever met he wouldn't hurt a fly he just wants to sit on your lap and be cuddled. |

I have a 6y/o German Shepherd named Stewie (after a character on my favorite show Family Guy). I got him from the shelter 3 days ago as a stray. I must say that I am VERY lucky to find this guy! He is completely housetrained and can hold it for upto 10 hours (he comes to me and whimpers when he has to go). He was very quick to learn his new name (1 day). He was very quick to learn the come and sit command. He hasn't destroyed anything in the 4 hour time periods that I've left him alone in the house. He is good with everyone, never showing any aggression (unless there is an aggressor). He pulled very hard on the leash at first, but after a day he now follows my pace. Best of all, we have bonded faster than I had expected. After only 2 days, I let him off the leash when we went outside and he never strayed more than 6 feet and he always came when told.
I'd like to thank cassiepeia and sheltiemama for telling me to give him a chance in a recent thread ("housetraining needed?"). I am glad I adopted him and gave him a chance because so far he has been a dream companion with no annoying habits or such. He's only got lotsa love to give! Thanks to everyone else for the great tips and advice that offered in my pre-adoption days. Here's a pic of him: |

I own two dogs: A Lab/Rottie mix (at least, that is our best guess. He could be pure, but if he is a mix, it is with Rottie) named Blackie and a Lab/Rottie?/ACD/GSD mix named Rose.
Blackie is your typical Lab....he loves every body, loves food, loves water, and sheds a bunch. lol He likes people, but knows the difference between a good situation and a bad situation, thus, making him a good guard dog. He also hates other dogs (small ones are iffy, and any big dog, unless it is an extreamly subbmissive dog, he hates), he thinks cats taste good, and he is a "mighty hunter". lol Rose acts like a sighthound. She is very submissive, she is stubborn, and she is very timid. She loves kids, but she hates adults other than imediate family/friends. She can learn to trust/tolorate other women, but she won't let any man touch her, no matter how friendly they are trying to be. (She sometimes won't even let Dad touch her, but she does run to him when she is scared.) She hates loud noises, water (unless it is the creek or a mudpuddle), and thunderstorms. She is fear-aggressive with other dogs (but she can get along with them, when she knows them), she will only not chase a cat when it is the boss and is inside, and it doesn't run, and she is a very good mouser/rabbit hunter/whatever. But she is a lover and is a very good dog to her favorite people. (Basically, my mom, me, and my older brother. She likes the kids, but she doesn't run up to them to be pet, and she only tolorates my dad.) So ya, those are my s |

Thanks for the lovely comments, Momtobella. And sorry for the delayed response.
![]() I often don't realize how big Peanut is, since I live with her on a daily basis and have become accustomed to her size. But when I saw them both sitting there like that... Bubba looked like a tiny pixie of a dog next to her (and he is actually a "big" Springer, tall and more than 50lbs at 61/2 months of age). I couldn't resist taking a picture. It is now one of my favorites. |

I have 2 dogs-
Theo Jr. is a 12 year old beagle mix(Theo Jr. named after my mom's dog Theo Sr.) And Wesley a 6 month old black lab. He was rescued from a forest fire, so we named him "Wesley" after John Wesley, the founder of the United Methodist Church because he was rescued from a fire when he was just a boy himself. |

My Mutt
I should be nice and call him a crossbreed but I say mutt in a very loving way. All we know is that the mother was mostly a boxer. I guess they are not for certain because the mother looked just like a boxer but was a bit small for a boxer. They thought he was a collie mix but I think he must be part german shorthair or springer spaniel. I should send in a picture and have everyone try to guess. He looks like a really buff german shorthair. I love him!!
