Question about GSD

This might sound like a dumb question, but we have never had a puppy before. Do GSD lose thier baby teeth? If so do they lose all their teeth or just some?

Yep, all dogs lose baby teeth just like humans, they will all fall out and be replaced by the adult teeth.

Your puppy is absolutely gorgeous. Just a note...I don't if it will be of any help, but when I first got our puppy ( Shadow ) I purchased a book called 'The dog owner's problem solver " by John and Caroline Bowere. It covers practically every topic from choosing a dog to how to care for you pet and problems that you may encounter. I refer to it frequently ... have done for the past 6 1/2 years. Try it.. if you can find it.

Chew chew and more chew. At least that is what Yukon does but we are very lucky because he mostly keeps it to his own toys and his own chilly bone. Has not damaged anything yet, touch wood.

Thanks you guys. Rocko definately likes to chew stuff. Sometimes not what he is supposed to. We have a couple of books but we were rearraging our house and can't find them. But thanks!

I just watch my bunch getting their first edition, I hope I finde one two, aren't they cute???
was so hoping to get one from my horse too, but that didn't happen, maybe our colt saves me one???
I am so happy for you that you got a little tiny toothy....

I have always believed (silly me) that if you find and save at least one baby tooth, it's good luck!! LOL Yeah, it's a silly superstition, but it gives me a weird excuse to save them!! LOLOL

I do the same thing and have a baby tooth from every one of the bullies.
