Pharaoh Hounds?

Any Pharaoh hound breeders around here, close to Southern California? Or anyone know of anyone who breeds Pharaohs near here?

Looks like the Pharaoh hound of america has a breeder referel site...

they would probably be your safest bet to finding a reputable pharaoh hound breeder.

Unfortunetly I've been there over 5 times and back and still no one has answered me or gotten back to me.
It seems that they are such a rare breed that even the people who have them don't know it.
*sigh*
I'm about to give up and give in.

Check out the club page and find out when they hold shows. Find out when the AKC hold shows too and go to the shows. That's the best way to talk to breeders. You can actually meet them (and their dogs) face to face and talk to them.

The thing is, that I don't think any of the shows are located near me! I think I'm in the middle of no where... somehow.

Check through infodog.com for upcoming shows as well.

I have sent so many emails today to so many breeders and people who have been referred, I don't know what to do.
Thank you so much for your help, everyone.

So far a bunch of emails to wierd people in my "sent items" folder of my work email, my boss is going to kill me of he finds out I'm dog hunting in the job.

I am desperate though.
I will keep you posted, it's become stressful enough that I could write a journal a day on my disappointments. Hopefully they won't last.

Just be patient and remember that it takes time to find the perfect dog. Never rush (although I realise you probably have had no choice in that matter up 'til now LOL ). Good Luck!!

I agree. Even if you do find a breeder you like, you will probably have to get on a waiting list. Are you looking for a pet quality or show quality?

I know that I should be patient, for my sake and my future pets' sake. It's just getting so stressful.

That's not my dog as my avatar, it's one that I want, see her blushing? They are so unique.

Shitzu- Miniature Schnauzer mixes.
They are the cutest little miniature pups! They don't have any look of a Shitzu in them, they look like regular Miniature Schnauzer puppies with different colors.
The oldest one is named Josie, and is a rare blond color for the breed (she was black and brown as a puppy, wierd change), and then there are her daughters, Chloe and Dollie, Dollie got the blond gene and chloe got the salt and pepper (but she's more like black and silver).
Those girls are a riot, always talking (roo-roos).
Then there's Rags, he's not our dog, but we're trying to get him away from his owner, he's one of those "Dogs can't feel cold so I can get away with leaving him out all winter." sort of guys.
Rags is a Schnoodle, Schnauzer-Poodle mix.
He's adorable! I wish I had pictures, but I recently ran away and had to leave everything behind, I miss the pups, that's why I'm looking so hard for a new baby, I need a companion.
