Talking New Baby Girl!
After searching on a few rescue sites and not finding the puppy we wanted (or the ones we wanted no longer accepting applications)
We came across "Little May" as her breeders call her. I however have asked to change the name to Emma.

She will be ready to come home after July 12th (so not too long) and we are very excited!!

Everyone meet Emma!!!



For those of you that were in on Lily's passing post I feel Much better about this breeder. She has kept in contact with me, offered to start calling her Emma so she will recognize her name a little when we get her, so friendly and outgoing just seems 100% better! Maybe Lily's passing was a blessing in disguise!

Congrats! I'm happy you found a better breeder. Did you make sure the breeder tested the parents for genetic problems? Sorry, I know I'm a pain. I'm just thinking of you in this instance. Since you lost your first pup before you even got the chance to hold her I'd hate anything to go wrong with this one, I know it'd break your heart.

Little Emma is doing well according to my weekly e-mails!
She's eating moist kibble as well as hard kibble so she should be on regular kibble when i get her.
Next week should be a big week for her being weaned from her mom...but she should do well.

Right now we are just figuring out the best flight/time for her. With the weather here in Southern Cali being so warm lately we want her on the earliest flight so the weather won't be as big of an issue.

Thanks so much for asking!
We are counting down the days! I'm so excited. She should get her last set of shots this weekend i believe...i just hope they go well....

**Update**
Just recieved an e-mail from Emma's breeder today informing me of what flights are available for her on the 13th. I'm torn, i don't know if i should have her on a longer layover or a longer flight (both departure and arrival times are within 20 minutes of eachother.)

But other than that she is good! She has survived July 4th with flying colors. She will have her last vet appointment about 2 days before her flight.

Only 7 days!!!
I just want my little girl now!

It's kinda funny,
by me getting a dog and talking to my Mom about it, in turn she then wanted a dog. Her minature schnauzer arrives tomorrow.
