Muzzles are kinda like the saftey helmets of greyhounds. For every day play in the back yard, they don't really need them but if we take them out to run where they will really stretch it out (our friends let us use their 4-5 acre field), the muzzles protect the other dogs from competitive nips when running in a pack. Greyhounds have very thin skin and even an unintentional nip can cause a wound that requires stitches.

Thanks! We actually just have one couch and a love seat...and one king sized bed. But LOTS of doggy beds and comforters (their favorite b/c they can nest it how they like it) spread throughout our house.

Believe it or not, our house is only about 1400 sq feet! But they have a fenced acre to play in throughout the day and we take the youngsters to sprint a couple times a week.

What a wonderful video! Thanks for sharing! Greyhounds are such a beautiful breed... especially while running!

I had the pleasure of meeting a couple in person one day at the dog park. They were trying to socialize one of them, because since he hadn't seen any other dog except his own kind, he became aggressive so they kept him on lead with a muzzle. But the MUSCLE in their hind legs is AMAZING! And their fur... so so soft!

Definetly a fave of mine
