Our new greybabies - young at heart!
Thanks to a little birdie whispering in my ear, we learned about two senior greys who were looking for a couch. They've been blood donors at a vets office since retiring from the track. Though they haven't donated blood for the last three years, they've continued to live at the vet clinic and have been looking for a home for quite some time.

When I saw their picture, I felt that feeling....you know that feeling...when your heart skips a couple beats and your soul starts soaring and you just know a pup is supposed to come home to you. I talked with the adoption rep this afternoon (a wonderful lady who has 14 dogs herself! Mostly pugs...and 10 seniors! ). She said Ken and I are *exactly* what the vet techs have been dreaming of for these two pups.

They sound super-duper sweet and have become quite a bonded pair over the years. Elvis is 9 and Casino is 13 years young.

They will be having a final wellness check up and DH will be picking them up on his way home from Texas next week....If I can wait that long!!!

Thanks! Only 15 Which is what DH has said all along is our "real" limit Guess he needs to get to work updating my siggy pic.

It's a lot of work, but it's a labor of love...as every dog should be, whether its one or 15

Well it seems it's the time for new additions They are just beautiful! Why is it Greyhounds don't seem to ever look old. Take lots of pictures for us to see when they get home. And yes, I know that feeling. I just had mine on Thursday, and now she's home with me.

Congrats!! I think greys are about the only dog I could have more than one of. They are fabulous. Mine is about as gentle as they come. Sometimes he makes my tummy squishy because he is so sweet and very expressive with his face.
