Funny story of life with a sighthound

Long called " stupid" by non sighthound owners, sighthounds are far from being stupid. More cat like in many ways, they are "intellegent but not the way owners see intellgence to obedience".
I was sitting at the computer in my great room a little while ago, alone in the house except for the dogs, when I suddenly heard the shower turn on in the hallway bathroom. SCARED me to death for a second, when here comes Galina with a wet head.. lol. I guess she pulled the knob out but since its not attached to the shower head as it has a shower hose attached to bathe the dogs- she only got her head wet.!!! She was quite proud of herself, figured she had a bath- and "where is my cookie mom?"... lol.
So lovely- now I have hottie that can open french doors, Zubin that helps himself to the ice and cold water dispenser on the refrigerator, Femka who moves throw pillows into a pile to sleep on, and now Galina who can turn on shower knobs.. lol.. And unknowing people in other breeds call sighthounds stupid???? Uh Not even close! lol

Thank you, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!! I can just picture her looking so pleased with herself. Did she get her cookie?
