Dachshund sizes needed

Hi,

I would be very grateful if any dachshund owners on Global Paw can tell me the shoulder heights and weights of their dogs (in cm and kg if possible). I am very interested in the size ranges of dogs and have yet to see any male/female ranges given for dachshunds in the literature so would love some info from Global Paw owners of this breed!

Please can you tell me whether your dog is male or female, adult or juvenile and which breed/size version of dachshund it is?

Note: shoulder height is measured from the base of the foot to the shoulders (withers) when the dog is standing on all fours.

The Daschund stands 8 to 10 inches inches from the ground to the top of the shoulder. Miniature Daschunds stand 5 to 7 inches in height.

My Nana's Dachshund Hogan is a longhaired black and tan male and he weighs 6 pounds and is 7 inches tall.
