We'll I think I have a name picked out for our lil'one. Mia-Sara.. And were gon'a call her Mia.. I just found out something about Doxies I never knew. They are naturally free from "doggy" odor.

I didn't know this.. I found this info. At AKC..

A ticking clock will remind her of mom's heartbeat, and a hot water bottle works well too. Take a blanket with you when you go to get her, and let the mother lay/play on it, to get her smell. Then the blanket can be used as part of her bed.

Beacause Kino was around sooo many other dogs before we brought him home he had trouble sleeping when it was silent. Some of the dogs would bark all night and hed sleep right through it, for almost a month we had to have a tv or radio on when we slept to keep him calm and sleeping. He has luckly grown out of that cuz I hate sleeping with the TV on...

so my point is to try and some what re-create her situation. After she gets adjusted it wont be as imporant to keep it the exact same, but for a while it will be nesicary.
Re-creating her situation, minus mommy, shouldnt only be applied to sleep, this is just the easiest time to do it, since nothing can truley re-create play time with your puppy sisters and brothers, and crawling over mom.

If you have other dogs, start out some what limiting their time toghether, they will all need their own space once and a while, at first you may have to watch them all and see when they get annoyed, after time they will be able to tell each other easier.

Yes Taz, Very excited. I saw her today. She is growing. She is so precious and those lil' Kisses she gave me on the chin.. She played with my hair..Chewing and nippin' me.. Oh I can't wait..
