Norwegian elkhounds
I just became the proud owner of an Elkie puppy and I must say I am HOOKED! She is such a pretty, loving, playful dog.
She is 5 months old.
I was curious if there are other Elkhound owners on here and if so what kind of quirky Elkhound behaviors I need to look forward to with my girl.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but with school just starting I have been so swamped. Here are some pictures of her.
I'm usually not a furry dog kind of person but she is such an absolute joy! She is very smart and very playful! I think I've been bit by the Elkie bug lol I took somemore pictures today but I've not had a chance to get them uploaded. I will post a few of them when I get them on the pc.

I had several experiences with Elkhounds. We used to breed and raise them. They're wonderful dogs, and have great personalities. Ours were bred for hunting, and pets as well.
