I'm glad things are going as originally planned for you Lauren and also glad to hear that your not limiting yourself to just looking at pups.
Not that puppies don't deserve to be adopted as well but, there are tons of wonderful adults out there as well that have less chance of getting that second chance at life and its nice to hear that your willing to keep an open mind towards them as well. ![]() Best of luck finding your new family member and let us know how it goes. |

Great news for you Lauren!
Don't worry about the easier to train issue. In my opinion age doesn't make a dramatic amount of difference. Lucky was 1 1/2 when I got him and he learned sit quickly..actaully he may have known it. I adopted a 7 year old Sheltie (in the past) and she was potty trained and everything for me. The only thing she hated was getting her dragon lady nails clipped.....lol. Oh and I've had Fallon for 4 year and I just began training and she's catching on just fine. I just recently began training all my kids ages 2y, 2 1/2y, and 4y. Whew again there I go sorry so long...... |
