Hiya, I'm new here and from the UK :)
Hi Guys, I have just joined the forum, My name is Joolz and I have a mongrel rescue dog called Brody. When we rescued her we were told she was about 1 year old...I know they can't determine for sure but I suspect she may be slightly younger as the first time she was on heat under my care, she didn't really know what was happening hehe. It seems a lot of the things we've done with her have been totally new experiences I.e. walkies and going to the park/in the lake. Her excitement makes us very happy. She is a very excitable bitch and is loves nothing more than a fuss. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

oh dear my pictures seem to be rather large! can an administrator make them smaller or as a link? sorry dears

Hi thanks for the warm welcome guys

I do agree with the staffy mix, she has a slightly butch build and the wider skull that suggested that to me too

She has a wonderful temprament and to this day I have not seen her show her teeth even at anyone, even when my 8yr old niece is trying to hug her... we have been extremely lucky with rescuing a dog. I know a lot of people think it's a bad idea or that the dog may be permanently mentally scarred, but brody was in the dogs home for the legal minimum required time. We picked her out the day she arrived! and had to wait the 7 days to get her. She has some scarring on her right side and all 4 legs, but she seems to have put that behind her whatever may have caused it!
