Another newbie
Hello..just wanted to introduce myself and tell you how much I'm looking forward to 'listening in' to all your stories. I currently have 5 dogs in residence, Mia, a small but very lovely German Shepherd, Drake, a 2 year old male Lab mix, Ace, a 12 year old Feist, Rip, a 9 year Jack Rusell and Baby, a one-year old temporary dog who is staying with us while her new owners build their new home and a nice place ready for her. They are all shelter or rescue dog but happily none of them, as far as I can tell, were abused in any way..just somewhat neglected, which is also sad. I plan on reading some past forums and then hopefully getting some help with some of my doggy issues...for instance..Mia, the German Shepherd is somewhat of a bully with the other dogs...Rip, the Jack Russell is determined to kill every snake in the county (and drag the remains into the house!!),and then there's Baby, the temporary dog, who I want to love but am afraid to because I know she will be leaving in a few months to go to her new home and I will be heart-broke when that happens. Whew..pretty wordy for my first instroduction, huh?? Sorry..but I love talking about my dogs. Thanks for listening!!

Hi Gina and Welcome. Glad to have you aboard.. Sounds like a great group you have there Love to see Pics.. I also have a dog named Mia.. But, Shes a Doxie.
Rip, the Jack Russell is determined to kill every snake in the county. Maybe I need to borrow him.. We have killed a few copperheads here.But, dragging the remains into the house!! I could live with out..  |

That's what this place is for. My, you are one up on me with the number of dogs. LOL. That has got to keep you busy. And when there are multiple dogs, that gives us license to be more long winded. LOL. Feel free to share anything you like and as long as you like. I have a 13yr. old Lab, a 4 yr. old Chihuahua, a 2 yr. old Chi mix and a 1 yr. old Doberman. LOL. Sorry I'm late in welcoming you.....glad you're here. Carrie |

Appreciate all the nice welcomes. Am still trying to wade through all the past topics..it's great reading for a dog lover like me.
I'll get some pictures on of my brood. I would love to get a picture of all of them together but the 'group dynamics' don't seem to allow all of them to sit still for more than one or two seconds. Thanks again for welcoming me. I'm sure you'll be hearing from me soon..especially on topics relating to multiple dog households. |
