Hi, I'm new......and am a member on the DOG FANCY boards. I have three dogs, all females. Colby (Canaan Dog/Jack Russell Terrier mix), May (Sub Chocolate Lab), and Tippy (German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie mix). I look forward to having some good moderation here! LOL

flyndog-Hmm.....really, I have no idea. We found her at the shelter, as a 2-month-old puppy. The shelter told us she had some terrier in her, and a few years later....we found out she has Canaan Dog in her. She looks almost exactly like a Canaan-just doesn't have the ears. She does have some terrier personality though.......she enjoys hunting mice and barking, LOL. So now I'm in love with both the Canaan Dog and the Jack Russell Terrier. Thinking of looking for a purebred Canaan Dog in the future.
Oh, and I also found that there is a breeder somewhere near here of Canaan Dogs........its kind of weird, but if she's a good breeder, I know she'd never purposely breed an (ADORABLE!) mix.
