Hello good people,
I stummbled on this website while trying to get some info about the latest addition to my family - an 8 month old, 35lb. lab/boxer/??? mix. I was wondering if anyone knows how much he'll weigh when he is full grown? I also have a 5 1/2 year old pit mix named Sammy. The new boy is Cruz. Oh well, hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks, ebayaries |

Hi Ebayaries, welcome to Global Paw!
![]() You've come across a great dog community, and I look forward to reading more of your posts. Do you have any photos of Cruz and Sammy? I'd love to see what they look like. I have two dogs as well - a 10 year old JRT x Maltese called Harley, and a (nearly) 6 year old Chihuahua called Abby. I hope you enjoy being a member here! ![]() |

Welcome to GP!
Do you know what your dog weighed when he was 4 months old? Generally, adult dogs weigh approximately twice as much as they did at that age.....x-large-giant breeds double the amount of around 5 months. |

I'd say he'll be around 45-55lbs , can't be for sure tho but if he is 8months and only 35lbs, I'm sure he won't get over 60lbs . My 4 month old Lab pup weighs in at 38lbs. I expect him to be around 70 to 80lbs. Anywho welcome to GP, hope to see pictures of your puppers soon

My Harley is a Beagle crossed with either Dobie or GSD. She went around 24lbs at 4 months olds, and topped out at 50lbs at a year. I think calculating at double the 4 month old weight tends to be pretty accurate (with the exception of the giant breeds, of course).
