new to GP From eastern Iowa

Hello all. I reside in eastern Iowa, out on the prairie on a few acres. I am foodslave to

Daisy, a 9 year old basset hound Chloe, a 5 yr old? Bloodhound dane mix rescue, on the left, and Maggie, my 4 year old Fawn great Dane.

Moose, my 2 year old rescue Saint, who recently underwent entropion surgery

And Rogue, my 20 year old son's 1 year old manchester terrier mix I am fostering

I work for a veterinarian, so sometimes I have some good answers, but I am not a vet and I sure don't know everything. I have owned dogs for almost 30 years. My DH and I have 6 sons between us, only 1 is still at home, my SS Jake, 13. Our boys are all over the US, One in the USMC, redeploying to Iraq in a few months, 2 in Houston, 1 with his mom 40 miles away and one 30 miles the other direction. My DH is disabled and home, so he takes care of the homefront. he does some stained glass work, has made some nice dog pieces, and I enjoy quilting. Nice to be here!

Hi and welcome. Boy, you sure do have a very interesting fur-family. Poor Daisy is about to get squeezed off the sofa.
I too have six sons, but I had each and every one of them. Three are here in CA. which is so wonderful.
Do you ever sell any quilts? I'm always looking for a nice one.
My fur family consists of a 14 year old blind Chihuahua named Delsi, a 19 month old Yorkie named Zada and a 17 month old Yorkie named Azrael. I'm currently fostering a senior Bichon, who just had teeth and gum surgery yesterday. I've had her for 10 days now. She's a totaly angel.

WHat kind of quilt are you looking for, calgal? I have commissioned a couple, but I don't go all out to sell.
Same with my husband's stained glass. He has sold a few panels on commission. He has done a cool basset hound.
This is my quilt album http://ImageEvent.com/ken_sharon/quilts
Kens BH piece is there too!

WOW, you sure do good work. I've never seen the eagle one before. It's so in the "now". I would like a twin done in tiny pink rose buds with white background, and 4 squares with my dog pictures. Is that doable?
