I am new...I do animal rescue, in Henry County KY! I have 23 cats, 10 are fostered, I have 16 dogs of my own, and we have a shelter with 18 in it! They are all for adoption at the shelter! Hope to meet some new people and have a blast! Hailee

That is weird that we are so close! Where around there are you located? I am in LaGrange KY, if you know where that is! Did you see a couple of years ago where the dogs where being shot and baried alive because if you did we are the group that took over the shelter and stoped the shooting of the animals!

WOW 16 dogs... (LOL the cats are not a biggie for me.. I could live in a house with 35 cats, provided that they were special self-grooming, hypoallergenic cats.)
I'd love to be doing what you are doing right now, but of course I have horribly anti-dog parents. (figures) Can I come live with you?

Thanks...Yes I love my fur babies but they are VERY HARD to clean after! We have got them pretty much trained to ask to get out in our (FENCED) yard, but when I am on the computer (witch is a LOT LOL) they poop and pee on papers! But then we have the shelter, they go to the bathroom on concrete, we go up there evryday and hose it all out and give the fresh food and water and that sounds easy but it is really not! LOL, I love them and I don't know what my life would be without them...They are my life, and you know we do not have one pure bred dog, we have in the past but breed rescues useally take them real fast, mostly the little ones though! If anyone has a dog near me that needs to be adopted we are full but I can post them on our web site and put the word out to all of my rescue friends! Have a nice day ALL!

Yes I did that infuriated me!!!! I am so glad it was stopped..I felt helpless to do anything and felt so angry that it was like almost allowed to happen...

It was HORABLE!!! And I don't know you might think I am nutts but it is a cenderblock bulding and in the old paint there is faces of dogs, (the reason that we did what we did is because his little assistant lived down the street from us and had took our dog (Scruffie) up there and stot it!!!!) and Scruffies face is on the wall, and people think we are nutts but we never painted that wall! We also have gost dogs...they are all over in there, he shot dog for well over 17 years that way and ever time would barie them alive and the currage it took for mike crowe to sit in the bushes and film that to save all of the dogs! I don't know how he could do it and not say anything!

Well, yes we are a no kill but like for enstance we had a BIG rottie with bone cancer all over her body, she was in MAJOR pain and she was 7 years old...The doctors said there was nothing to do so we put her down but we have been doing rescue for almost 3 years now and we have only put to sleep 8 and that includes all of our branches and one is KY PitBull rescue and they get a lot of abused pits and you just cannot do anything with them if they are mean and 3 have been so aggressive that she cannot even give them food and water! We have 4 branches so that is all!
