Hi from New Jersey
Hi Everybody
I just joined and wanted to jump in with a quick intro. I live in the Southern part of New Jersey about 50 minutes South of Atlantic City. I have a 7 year old ACD named Blue who I rescued as a 6 month old puppy and I just got my now 11 month old Manchester Terrier pup named Zippy 2 months ago. I also have two Rocky Mountain horses--Bull's Eye and Willie. I really look forward to learning and getting to know everyone and their dogs! |

Hi and welcome to GP. Your fur-family sounds wonderful and I hope you post pictures of them soon.
I have Delsi, a 14 year old blind Chihuahua, Zada, a 19 month old Yorkie and Azrael, a 18 month old Yorkie. I'm currently fostering a Bichon/Poodle I named Aariel. (I love angel names) ![]() |

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! I think everyone's animals are just so gorgeous! I think it is so funny that there seem to be so few Manchesters from where they originated LOL! Honestly I had never seen one in person before I got Zippy--they definitely seem to be a bit rare. Also,I recently went on my dream trip to Australia and did see a few ACDs--but not as many as I would have thought....and definitely no Manchesters
Here is another pic (I had to get the horse in there too ) Zippy had just unexpectedly jumped in and swam out to me---I think he even surprised himself!![]() |

Hello and welcome to Global Paw!
![]() I'm from Australia but I'm 1/2 American and some of my family live in NJ.. I haven't been to America, yet. Your dogs and horses are gorgeous! ACDs are very common down here, but I guess over the years other breeds have started becoming more and more popular.I have a JRT x Maltese called Harley (10 1/2 years old) and a Chihuahua called Abby (6 years old). |

Hi!
Thanks again everybody! I love seeing everyone's dogs! sooo cute! Swiftwind do you know where in NJ your relatives are located? What part of Australia are you from? My husband I had such a blast on our trip --one funny story--while in Alice Springs we are on the motor coach and there was a small ACD trotting through a park--one woman on the bus goes oh look!--what is that a HYENA??? I could barely contain my laighter as I explained I have one of those "hyenas" at home! |

I'm not exactly sure where in NJ they live, but I think it's in central NJ. I'm from Sydney. Haha that would have been SO funny!
ACD's don't even look like Hyena's! ![]() |
