Smile A Hello From A Stranger

Hello Everyone,

I very infrequently visit these forums but know many from way way back to went globalpaw was first born (seems like forever ago now).

Thought ld come back and update everyone to how things are.

Recently we lost are precious princess, Miss Muffet, an 18 year old pure white scottish fold. We had to get her put to rest due to old age, whilst vet told us she was the most beautiful scottish fold he had ever seen, he saw how frail she had become.
When we took her in, we knew it was the final goodbye, our baby had become senial and we were having to make her eat, while she apparently struggling with liver failure she wouldnt let go of life as she knew I needed her. On her final day the vet told us her heart beat was so very faint that he was amazed she was still around. We couldnt let our little girl suffer and had to let her go, of course, this left us utterly and completely crushed as we still are presently.
For those whom would like, here is a pic l recently made for her with a short poem l wrote for her, its not a good pic but Ive been far too heartbroken to try anything nicer for her yet.

As for our doggies, well, we still have our 3 girls, Hera, Tiffany and Velvet, but now we have a gorgeous young lad with us also, Vic.

Hera: 3 years old almost, Miniature Pinscher x Bichon Frise.
99.99% min pin with a frizzy wire coat basically, a right little terror who captures your heart and gets away with murder, yes yes she knows shes got her mummy and daddy ruled

Tiffany: 12 years old, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Pekingese.
Shes still a grumbler and loves her mumma most Shes always at my side and loves nothing more than getting endless cuddles

Velvet: 5 years old, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Shes the snoring queen this one, but a right royal clown also, she loves wrestling with Hera and getting oodles of cuddles.

Vic (Victor): 5 years old, Akita.
Vic has only recently come to us, my sisters friend is moving interstate and had planned to dump Vic at the local pound, my sister told me this and the next day my husband and I went to the ladies house and said we would take him in, if anything, we would find him a suitable home ourselves, anything to keep an akita out of the pound.
At this point, my sister wants to keep him but her present living arrangements arent suiting to such a large dog, shes attempting to purchase a larger property next week, if all goes to plan, he will live there with her, if not, we are attached and this boy wont be leaving us

Though he is huge in size he is the most gentle, placid teddy bear youll ever meet. He knows he must sit and shake hands before he has his meal, he never snatches and if the girls bolt in to eat his food first, he sits back, patiently awaiting till after they are done.

He did frighten them a little at first as he saw how hera and velvet wrestle and wanted to join in, the poor silly boy doesnt realize he isnt little like them so he gave them quite the fright No harm was done, he moved away as soon as l said his name, but the girls were more like for a little.

Tiffany, though small, controls Vic majorly. Yes my little grumbler has realized if she grumbles at Vic he will run away and she is very proud of the fact that he is scared of her, which is quite the sight, shes smaller than his head even.

So um yeah, thats kind of long, sorry, just thought Id say Hello again and hope to be visiting more frequently.

So good to hear from you again, although I wish it could have been under better circumstances and I'm so very sorry to hear about Miss Muffet.

You've always been such a wonderful mom to your babies and it was so good to see them again! Please give them all a HUGE hug from me and one for yourself. Take care hun.

I'm so sorry your little girl has left you. It's so difficult when one goes to rainbow bridge.

You have such an interesting fur-family, and mixes I've never seen or heard of before.
