Hello, this is my 1st post too. I'm Erin in "Nash-Vegas", TN. I have a 6 month AmStaff named Asti, I also take care of my parents dogs, as well as have private Obedience Training "Kids", and I am currently in the process of a start-up mail-order/ homemade treats/ etc. project. I would love to talk with anybody in my area. I want to take Asti on playdates & I just moved back (after 3 years in Las Vegas, NV) & most of my friends are now all married &/or with human kids.

Hello Again! Sorry, I had to bail out early yesterday & today I have been researching for my biz while baking my soon-to-be-famous "Spoiled Staffie Cinnabites" to take out to my neighbors (for "test-market"). I wanted to have my pics up by now, but I am so not tech-savvy. I have a dig. camera & everything, but I don't know how to get it from the camera/ card onto the screen!! Any help? Otherwise I'll be waiting til my brother "gets around to it". How are ya'll doin'?

Welcome aboard!

Did your camera come with a cord which connects the camera to the computer? What type of camera do you have?
Most I have seen are what is called a "USB" cord. One end plugs into your camera (usually the smaller part) and the other half is slightly larger, and looks flat.

If you need any help, please do not hesitate to PM myself or another staff member. We are here to help.

If you don't know how to PM, go up to the member's name, right next to the picture (called an avatar). A menu will drop down. On that menu, will be an option which says "Send a private message to..." Click on that and it will bring you to a page where you can type up your message. It looks very similar to what writing a post/thread is.

Another way is to go to the top on the sites navigation bar. There is a link that says "User CP". Click on that. On the left hand side is a list. On that list will be an option that says "Send a New Private Message". Click on that, and it will bring up the window. Type in the usersname in the top box and voila!

Hi, TanyaT! I'm new too. I'm on and off at least a couple of times a day. I've been at home for awhile, due to surgeries, and I've been playing with a brand new computer. That's how I discovered GlobalPaw 2 weeks ago. I put in kind of a generic search for dog info, and they popped up. Pretty neat place, hey? I also am a caveman mentality in a high-tech world, and am unable to marry my camera to my computer. Oh well, it'll come eventually. I have a 3 year old black lab named "Misdemeanor." Self explanatory. She's smart as can be, and is just about as naughty as you can find. Busy, busy, busy. Sounds like a very neat business. Should be fun to do, too, hey? Anyway, again, welcome.
