I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Lived here my whole life. We have such a lovely & beautiful country that we somtimes take it for granted.

We currently experience quite a drought in the Cape Town area and even have water restrictions. We did not have the normal rains in our winter and now we are suffering. It is terribly hot. I envy those of you that have winter now. Wouldn't mind some cold weather right now.

Nice to see that ppl still make other people feel welcome.

Welcome to GP, dedrei! Wow South Africa, I'd love to visit there one day. I'm from Australia, so I know all about drought, we've got water restrictions in many places too (thankfully not where I'm living currently), and it's hot enough to fry an egg on the pavement right now.
