Rep Power: 0 lunastar has a good mark in the dog forum.
Unhappy Hello

I would like to introduce myself "lunastar" like my 2 pets Luna my 9month old Shi-tzu and Star my 5month old Shi-tzu.
Well the reason I joined was to see if maybe one of you has gone or is going thru what I am going thru...Luna was just diagnosed with pneumonia in her right lung and Iam really freaking out, first she had kennel cough she was then on antibiotics then she had bronchitis antibiotics again and now she has pneumonia and is now having to have an antibiotic injection and respiratory treatment twice a day. (I'm waiting for her to get better so that I can switch vets) but is this something she will eventually overcome? According to the vet she will.

Hi, welcome to Global Paw!

You should try posting your question in the "Dog Health Concerns" section. I'm not very familiar with dog pneumonia so I don't want to give any misleading information. Have you asked your vet whether there might be an underlying problem that would cause your dog to have pneumonia, bronchitis and kennel cough?

I know it has been a bit since you posted this.. how is your pup doing?

Pneumonia can be deadly if left untreated, and sometimes some dogs can't pull through it. Just follow your vets instructions and hopefully she'll be better in no time.
