Exclamation Parvo, Snookums Pets- Again

I read a thread on here from 2005 with a number of families telling stories of sick dogs that died within days of being purchased at Snookums Pets. This happened to us too. And it recently happened to at least 6 other families. Each case was determined to be parvo and in each case the pet shop blames the families for not taking care of the puppies. The sad things is that it will keep happening until tougher laws are created to protect pets an pet buyers.....

Here is a link to the recent news story about the dogs that died...

I believe it.

The vet clinic I work at gets our local chain of petstore's, Pass Pets's, dogs in all of the time. I think every time I go into work their are at least one or two puppies in isolation because they have Parvo. Some make it, some don't. If it isn't Parvo, it is something or other (puppy won't eat, puppy won't drink, puppy is loosing weight too rapidly). A handful of the puppies are so far gone that the store says, "We don't want it, it is costing us money, just take it," and one of the staff members takes it home and gives it 24 hour care and nurses it back to health.

Needless to say, I don't understand how anyone would support the store with the sick puppies they are churning out.

First, Welcome to Global Paw! Second, I'm so sorry you lost a pup to Parvo. It sounds like Snookums Pets are not changing their ways, that's very unfortunate.

Are you able to take legal action against Snookums Pets?

Here are the links to the older threads here on GP you referred to:
