Today, she took a turn for the worse. This morning, she wasn't walking on one of her legs, making it difficult for her to do anything. We were seriously considering PTS but this afternoon, she's much better and can now walk so it must have just been a pulled muscle. It just gives us such a shock that one day she can be fine, and the next, not, so we are chesihing every minute we have with her at the mo.

All we can do sometimes is be thankful of the moments we do have with our senior dogs. She is in good hands with you. Has anyone taught you how to help support some of her weight in the back? You can make a sling out of a towel or piece of clothing to help her get around giving her more mobility and may relieve some of her back, hip and leg pain. I'll try to find a photo for you.

Here are links to show commercially available supports, but lots of people make their own out of towels, blankets and sheets.

Here is one that's homemade.
