Hello!
Hi, everyone!
(no Renee, and all those from chazhound, I'm not stalking you )Greetings from me and my mutts (I say that affectionately, actually there all purebred at this time). The pups, oldest to youngest I have a 12 yr old, obese, arthritic, Shetland Sheepdog ~ Nicki who doesn't do much but sleep and bug people until they pet her. She's such a sweetie, always wanting to be the center of attention, but not up to getting it these days. She's really my father's dog, but I'm the one who she lives with and I care for... Next is Maddie, my baby She's a 2yr old American Cocker Spaniel, the greatest dog in the world. She defies everything people say about cockers, around here anyway, so I'm proud of her. We went through training at Pets Mart, where she was head of the class in both puppy and basic classes. There's a huge list of tricks and commands she can do, but I think this is enough bragging about Maddolyn for one post. Minnie... Mom's Chihuahua. I'm not sure how I ended up taking in both of my parents dogs, but I don't regret it. My 'pack' wouldn't be the same without them. Minnie's 1yr old, white, very skinny & cat like. She's the watchdog of the house ... with that shrill, high pitched bark *cringes* She barks so loud that the other dogs don't feel a need to bark (lol) but she's a good dog, always by my side. Carly is a 9wk old Shih Tzu that I'm currently fostering. I foster dogs all the time, train them, socialize them, and basically get them used to living with a person in their home manageably. I get calls from the local shelter to foster, but I have gotten dogs on there last day at the pound before. Its a labor of love, always hard work and bittersweet when they move on to there permanent homes. Anyway, I've had Carly since she was 5 or 6 wks old. The shelter kept her with her litter mates up until that point. She's pure, but when the Mom needed an emergency C Section and then died the vet bills were high and the so called 'breeder' didn't want to raise the puppies on her own. She wanted them to be gassed or something, so the vet called the shelter, and the shelter later called me. ![]() |

Welcome
That’s quite the house full you have there. There must never be a dull moment. Do you have any pics of your pack? |
