We had the same problem with Shiva. Our first Fila, Buffy, not only wasn't quite as big as Shiva, but acted like a little (?) grown up dog from day one. Shiva, at 11 1/2 months (and 130+ pounds), is just now beginning to not act quite so much like a puppy, although I think she'll always have some puppy qualities. We kept having to remind ourselves that she was just a baby. And when she'd go cavorting to see someone . . . how unnerving for them!
