Hello! Can you help?
Hi, I'm new to the site. My name is Chelsee and I got a puppy named Mocha about 3 weeks ago. I came to this community to seek some help determining the breed of my puppy. I know she's a mixed breed, but i need the help of some experts!

You won't really be able to tell (if at all) until she's older, but she looks quite 'houndy' to me. Perhaps she has Beagle in her, or even some Black & Tan Coonhound? She's gorgeous, whatever she is.

The big paw and marking look to be as possible rottweiler. And the long muzzle and ears look to be as possible beagle.

Here's a rottweiler x beagle as an adult

Hi Chelsee and Mocha, welcome to Global Paw!

Mocha looks like a pampered pooch to me...cute pink sweater. I agree with Cass, once she's a bit older it will easier to guess. But If I were to take a stab at what mix, since she has huge canines, I'd say Dobie x hound but I'm really bad at guessing too

She could be a mix of hound or Min-Pin with Alaskan Klee Kai. She sure is a cutie!!!

Welcome, and Mocha is adorable!! Depending on how big she is, I would say a Beagle/Rottie cross, or if she is on the larger side, maybe a Coonhound (or Foxhound)/Rottie cross.

For sizing....Sadie, my foster Lab, was 11 pounds at seven weeks and she grew to be around 65lbs. My Collie/Aussie mix was 13lbs around 12 weeks and she is currently exactly 42 pounds at around a year (and yet she is almost the size of my 80lb dog...go figure).

Thanks so much everyone!! Her mom is definitely a beagle x lab mix. I found out the possible fathers today from the girls I got her from. He could be a rottweiler, great dane, and boxer (they panned the neighberhood haha). I really appreciate all of the insight!!!

It was probably the rottie then going from those choices. She is almost mixed up as my girl Lucy her mom was a lab basset hound mix and her dad was a chow australian shepherd mix. lol

There is absolutely no possible way!! All breeders that sell to pet homes have a time limit to have their pup male or female spayed/neutered!



When I first saw the picture I automatically thought Beagle X Rottie.
