Hello new here from Canada
Hi im Leona in 35 I live in BC in Canada with my husband. I own my own private sighthound rescue. I own 6 GreyHounds, 2 Afghan Hounds, 3 Salukis, 1 Spanish Greyhound, 3 Whippets, and 2 Italian Greyhounds, and 1 Lurcher. We have had this rescue for 15 years and have rescued sighthounds from all around of all different backgrounds. None are to be adopted out. I love my dogs their my kids and I can't imagine life with out them. Just thought I would introduce my self and the hounds .

Am I understanding this correctly..........your a rescue but you keep all the dogs yourself?

A Spanish Greyhound is like the regular greyhound only a different coat and head build and personality but used just the same for racing.

And yes we keep the dogs we take in we do not get dogs in often and when we do they are older dogs.

Welcome! I adore sighthounds, as well

Breezy, a Spanish Greyhound is also known as a Galgo. They're furry looking "English" Greyhounds. They kind of remind me of a Scottish Deerhound/greyhound mix (but that'd be some kind of lurcher, huh?). Heck, I don't even know the difference between longdog and lurcher.
