Dublin the Dog
Hi, I am 8, but i act like 2. I beg like crazy and think I am a lap dog, even though I am 85lbs. They said I had cancer in my leg. But they were wrong. Glad they didn't amputate. That would have stunk. I live with a cat that my humans rescued. I am not very happy about it, but occasionally the cat provides some amusement. Particularly when the humans take the cat along for a walk with me, which turns into more of a drag-then-carry type thing.
Its good to be here, and have all 4 legs. |

Hey Dublin, welcome to Global Paw!
Is that you pictured in your avatar? If so, you're very handsome! |

Yes, that is me. Thank you. My humans take good care of me, for the most part. I don't like when they leave me alone during the day. It makes me sad. They say they have a "job" they have to go to. I don't like "job" and wish they wouldn't go. Bad "job", bad.

Dublin,
I am not a cat person but please be aware that cats also read this board. We here at GlobalPaw are most sensitive to the needs of our fellow canines, like yourself, but respectfully regard the felines of the boards as "friends". I would ask you NOT to harbor ill will against our cats and please try not to step on any extra dewclaws whilst perusing this forum. Meanwhile, please bid your master and the rest of your pack a warm welcome!! Peety, Kaytee and Shmee |

One day last fall a stinky cat showed up on the front porch. He was a stray, and injured. his collar had rapped under one of his arms and was cutting into his chest. he was walking on 3 legs. the humans fed him and finally caught him. he had been wild for some time. he weighed 6 lbs.
the humans took him to the vet many times. it didn't look good for a while. i can't say i was rooting for the cat. the cat bats me in the face alot. its annoying. but the cat made it and now weighs 12 lbs. my mom was not a cat person, but said that it was her job to care for the cat, since it showed up on our porch. i still don't really like the cat, and need to do a better job of keeping them off my front porch in the future. |
