Almost a year!

Crazy! Where does time go?

Well, it's been one heckuva year. Had a ton of life changing events, I won't bore you with the details but am now expecting our first little one near the end of December! I was wondering on tips on how to intro the baby to Gizmo, and then I remembered Global Paw!

Apparently I last visted on 09-17-2007.

Not sure if anyone here would remember me, but I'm definitely not going to be so inactive again! Hope to see you all around!

Hey, welcome back! I remember you!

CONGRATULATIONS on the great news!! How exciting! I see you don't have long to go now... one of my friends is due in early February and next week she finds out the sex of her baby. She's getting one of those amazing 4D ultrasounds done.

Anyway, it's lovely to have you around again!

Hi Tiffanay, I just saw your other thread and now this one, that answers my question. CONGRATULATIONS!!! How wonderful!! Well Tiffany, the only advice I can add to your question would be to make sure Gizmo knows the baby is higher in the pack than he is. Always make sure the baby gets to lead the way when on walks, and his turn for attention is always last. I don't think you would have any problems anyway.

Glad to see you and Gizmo back!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to the Mommy Club!

I'll save advice for a behavior thread if you want to start one. Calgal gave great tips already.

Thanks everyone! I'm sooo glad to see some familar names around!

A quick Gizmo update:

He's doing awesome! He's 3 years old now, can you believe it??? I can't. Funny enough thing, his birthday and my guy's birthday are on the same day! My little dog is slowly starting to not act so puppy-ish anymore, which is kind of nice as the less desirable puppy-traits are at an end, but really sad too because it means he's growing up! *sniff*

When my BF and I moved in together, he had a Rabbit (named Jack Sparrow) and Giz LOVED to play with him. Jack was an english lop, and rather large (think of a large hopping couch throw pillow) and was only a bit smaller than Giz. Giz instantly was protective of Jack and would get very upset if people he didn't know went up to the cage.

Unfortunately Jack had to be put down about 2 months ago or so. It's something that I'll probably rant about in the Other Pets forum, as I think it totally could've been avoided. Or not. Hard to say. Well, more on that later. We certainly miss Jack , Giz does as well.

Well, that's about it! My comp tower died so I can't upload or get any pictures that are recent of Gizmo at the moment. We bought a new camera though, and already there's about 15 pics of him on there so as soon as I figure out how to upload the new ones I'll do so!

Great to see everyone!
