Ello!, yet another newbie!
Hey globalpaw!
My name is Ben and a proud owner of a small Shitzu cross maltese =)
His name is Odi and I've had him for about 6 months now yet i still don't know a lot about dogs, so maybe you guys can help me out!

thanks for the replies

He was given to me by a friend, who no longer had the love for his cute little face; he was placed in a cardboard box and was neglected.
When i saw him his coat was black and had limited food and no water in his bowl.
I took him off my mate immediately, and ever since, he's been so happy.

Oh yeah btw how come he doesn't bark ? lol i found that funny..

Maltese can be yappy, but ShihTzus are normally quiet dogs. At least, from what I know of them.
