Another New One
Hi EveryoneI'm just discovering forums and use one in Australia but thought I would spread my wings a little. I am owned by 2 Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, Todd and Lilly. Todd is 3 1/2 years old and we've had him since he was 9 weeks old. He is very much a part of our family and doesn't like to be left out of anything. He does obedience at our local club and is about ready to join a flyball team. We will have a go at agility some time soon. Lilly is 5 years old and we've only had her for about 5 weeks. She comes from a breeder I know who won't be using her anymore. She is extremely affectionate, loves anybody and can also be very naughty. She likes to steal food off the benches and has also chewed the odd shoe. She does these things with a big wag of her tail. I'm not quite sure what I'll do with her yet. She's had very little training but I'd like to find something she really enjoys now that her breeding days are over. That's about it for an intro. I'd love to hear from other Toller owners as there's not too many here. Bye |

Hello and welcome!! I was considering a Toller when I was playing around with which breed to choose but they didn't quite suit me right sadly. Your two sure are gorgeous though!

Hi and welcome to you, Todd and Lilly. I don't think anyone here has a trolling retriever. We did add them to a retriever list just yesterday though.
Lilly looks a lot darker than Todd, or is it just the pictures? Very good looking "fur-babie" you have. |

Hi everyone,Thanks for the welcomes. I will post some more pics of the dogs in the photos. Always love to show them off. Calgal, There does seem to be alot of variation in the colouring of Tollers, Todd is much lighter than Lilly. At the moment but her coat is growing back after having her last litter (9) so I'm not sure what she'll look like when it's full length. |
