Hi. Chihuahua Questions

Hi guys:

Its my first time posting here and it seems like everyone is a true dog lover and looking to help out. I'm seriously considering buying a particular chihuahua puppy who has stolen my heart and I was wonering if you guys had any suggestion for starting

out before I bring him home. I'm a first time dog owner (I do have a cat though) and have spent about two months researching baisic dog ownership and breeds. Eventually narrowing down my decision to the chihuahua.

Anyways I'm looking forward to hearing responses to my post!

You may want to ask the people who have these puppies some questions. They should be a wealth of information if they are breeders.
Having a puppy is a lot of work and training for the first few months as I'm sure you have already read. It will also keep you awake at night crying. It's hard on them at first when they are taken away from their mom and littermates. If you have a specific question, then please ask, otherwise trying to explain what all you need to do and not do from scratch to finish is almost impossible. Have you picked a name? Hope you post pictures of your new addition.

Welcome, it sounds like you are off to a good start doing all your research. There are a lot of good books/advice for raising pups, and a lot of people her have chi's. Good luck
