Welcome to GlobalPaw.
Bear is so sweet. I have a 11yr old Yellow Lab, seems like just yesterday he was a cute little puppy like Bear. Can wait to hear more about you and your dogs. ![]() |

Welcome. Your pup is darling. I have a 13 yr. old Chocolate Lab and like Taz, it seems such a short time ago that she was so young. Enjoy.....am looking forward to hearing more about your dogs.

WOW, you have an 18 year old dachshund? Thats the oldest I have ever heard a dog living to. I have a little black and tan mini dachshund. She is the greatest little dog and so portable, she goes everywhere with me. I grew up in Sisseton SD on a great farm, my Mom and Dad have a little cabin on Buffalo Lake in Eden , SD and they are there now for the summer. I live in Washington now but I go back to the lake in the summer sometimes. It's great to have you on this forum, welcome!

I also had one that lived to be 21 . I had to have him euthanized 2 months ago , He was my good friend and when he was terminally ill with cancer it was my time to be a good friend to him , no matter how bad it hurt. I really miss him . Danny was my buddy. Even his vet cried over him .

Guidance please
I am shortly retiring to the woods of New England. I want a dog, smart, about the size of a standard poodle, but not a poodle. She will have to arrive as a pup and become friendly with cats and guests----can you suggest a good breed.
