Hello I'm new too
I'm SandraC from Norfolk, England,
I have 3 German Shepherd Dogs. Lacey is 12 years old and the boss despite her advancing years. Merlin is 8 years and would rather have a cuddle than food any day. Morgan is 2 years and thinks he's my helper. He picks up anything I drop and will put things in the waste bin for me. I have warned my husband that if anything goes missing especially the TV remote that gets left on the floor then he's to look in the bin. |

Today we went for a lovely walk (as we do everyday)
in the woods with my friend and Morgans sister Suki. Morgan, Merln & Suki have their own ball to carry and now & again Lacey likes to hold the string attached to Morgans and the pair of them walk along together. Morgan is brilliant with her and slows right down to match her pace. Even when the others are running about he stays with her which surprised me at first as he is the most active of them all. He weighs 90 pounds and coud pull her off her feet if he wanted but he doesn't. Even the games he plays with her are gentle. They lay facing each other passing a ball to each other or he'll jump over her then crawl towards her. It's all change when Meerlin & Morgan play. Charging around the garden, biting knees, rolling over and play fighting. It's lovely to watch and I spend ages doing just that. (whoops is that the time I better do some housework) p.s. Today he put my shoes in the boot box for me which is a new thing. |

Welcome to Global Paw!
Hey, after Barrett's finished with Morgan would you mind shipping him to Australia too? LOL He sounds like a handy dog to have. Hope you'll post pictures of them all in our picture forum. Cass. |

Thanks everyone for the replies. My husband has put pictures of them on for me.
Got a lovely compliment yesterday. When we are out walking if I see a horse and rider I calll the dogs over to the side and make them lay down till the rider go past. One lady has seen Morgan from the first time we went walking over there and her horse was the first one he ever saw.(and barked at) She has seen him progress from a barking pup to a relaxed adult and she called out that when ever she sees us she knows she doesn't have to worry as they are so well behaved. My dogs aren't perfect by any means but I do try to be a responsilbe dog owner and it's always nice to hear things like that. |
