Hello From Oregon

Hi,
I've had dogs all my life and have been involved in Leader Dog For The Blind and Dog 4-H. Two of the dogs I've raised for Leader Dog For The Blind are now with a blind person, and one was even good enough to be trained for a deaf and blind person.
I currently have 3 dogs, two Golden Retrievers and one Siberian Husky.

I'm a dog person in general, but I'm also interested in Big Cats and Predatory animals in general, which is why I'm involved in different Animal Conservation programs and educating others about wild animals. Now don't call me an "Animal Activist", because a person I would consider an Animal Activist would be a like a member of PETA or something. I like to hunt, fish, and eat meat, so I'm obvioulsy not.

Didn't have the chance before to look at the pics! Both your dogs are beautiful, that pic of Solo is just stunning and I can't wait to see more pics of them both!

What type of conservation programs are you involved in?

Big Cat Rescue is an affiliate to my site and I've donated to their programs with some graphics and money. I've also helped out at Wildlife Safari and will be interviewing for a job there soon.

Awesome! Now that would be something I'd love to do, working with wildlife would be great and I can't think of a better way to spend a day than with animals.

We start out with snakes, like corn snakes and ball pythons, no great shakes since those are both things I've already had plenty of experience with. By year three I should be up to working with birds of prey, which will be pretty cool.

I'm also into dog training and have been exposed to it for the majority of my life.
