Hello from New Zealand Alaskan Malamute owner
Hello from New Zealand
I have 2 Alaskan Malamute dogs - Nushka 10 yr old female and Yukon 8 year old male. We have had our dogs since 8 week old pups and they have played a major part in our lives since their arrival.
We exercise our dogs twice daily, making one walk at least 45-60 minutes long. We used to get the dogs pulling our bicycles through the forest when they were younger. Yukon had major surgery to correct his cruciate ligament tear this year and he suffered a lot of complications post operatively. Despite this he is now walking well and back to his usual exercise regime.
