Hello to everybody. New to this site
Hi, I just found this site. It's great. Hope I can figure out how to post a picture. March 29th our little poodle "Willie" died from a heat attach the night before my father died. We had such a void in our home with out Willie. 6 weeks ago we purchased a very large standard poodle. He's gorgeous. Apricot, 5 months old now and 40lb. He's so smart. He was house broke in 2 days. His training is going great. I have MS and he seems to know when I'm not doing well. I'm going to do my best to get a picture of him posted. Years ago I was a groomer then went on to become a hospice nurse. Now the MS keeps me home most of the time.

Welcome! Sorry about the loss of your little guy.

Standard Poodles are so smart and so intuitive, they make amazing therapy dogs! I wouldn't be surprised at all if you could train him to help you through hard times. They're such great dogs.

Awww he's gorgeous! I'm a big poodle fan also. And I see you come from Maine too, how wonderful! Where in Maine are you? I'm in York county and groomer as well. Glad you joined GP, welcome!

Hi and thank you for such a great welcome. I'm way up north in Maine. Cambridge, near Dexter. Our home is in the country and we love it. We have a lot of land and the house sits so far back, we can't even see the road. We enjoy deer, turkey. Leaves are changing now so it's gorgeous. Dusty will see his first snow fall this year, not to soon I hope.
All of you have a great day.
I'm going to try and post a picture of little Willie the poodle that past away in March. Thanks again.
