Boy,I feel stupid,not coming across this forum before!!
I`m the owner of 2 senior dogs-my Queen,Coco,a chocolate lab,and Mojo,a terrier mutt..(pics soon)
I stumbled across this site while looking for info on Mast cell tumors-
My pal.my buddy Mojo was at the vet saturday,and was diagonsed with a mast cell tumor on his leg...needless to say,I`ve had a ROTTEN weekend!
If nothing else,I hope this forum may provide me with contact with other dog-lovers facing similar issues...
I know here,no one will shrug,and say"oh,well,it`s just a dog!"

Here is a pic of Mojo....he goes in for a biopsy Saturday...gulp..
Does anyone know if a biopsy on a mast cell tumor can actually make it worse?(spread faster,etc?)
MY vet seems really gung-ho about cutting his leg off...I`m not at all considering that,at his age,and his amazing activity level...anyone else been through this?
