Was bored at work...
Hi
yesterday i was so bored at work that i started drawing....
I haven't been drawing for over a year, well one where i actaually put my mind to and it just flew out of my hand....

this is it: not quite finished but soon i hope....



just wanted to share....

I love it. I love the toungue. My puppy Lucy pictured in my avatar always does that when she first wakes up. Sometimes her toungue hanges out for several minutes.

Really nice D. i wish I had have got you to do a portrait of my dog instead of the "artist" I chose
Have you ever tried using a paper rubbing tool?? I just used one for the first time while away at an artfest and it is great when using pencils, pastels etc

Hi there , thanks....

the tongue, yea aika has it out often, sometimnes i think when she is tired and when she just stairs in the air, but sometimes when she is alert and was panting, the tongue doesn't make it all inside..... and it looks os darn cute!

@ carrie: have to ask , what is a paper rubbing tool? can you put a pic in or decribe it?
My favorite is pencile drawing and sometimes with charcoal, this pic i did at work just with an HB pencil....
Need to start looking for my "good" oil base pencils, should have them somewhere together with some charcoal and a darn good rubber

I always thought that is the ugliest scribelly someone could have, but oh well if this is what it takes to be an artst, heck i guess i keep it!!! =o) LOL

D a paper rubbing tool looks like a big pencil sharpened at both ends but it is made fully of paper and it helps smooth and shade your pencil drawing, you can use your finger but the paper tool is much better
