Yes, Charcoal and white chalk.
It's the medium that I work best with without getting annoyed with myself.

I know what you mean. I love charcoal and chalk too. It's a nice forgiving medium.

Hope you'll post more of your work at some point. I know I'm not the only one who'd like to see more.

Thanks everyone.
The purpose of the *dog* theme was actually to get me a job doing this for people. We take Ra to a dog park in Laguna Beach, it is a great rich, art oriented city in Southern California, and they absolutley love their dogs.
My plan was to begin by asking poeple if I could take pictures of their animals in order to draw them in Charcoal. My next step after completion was to take the piece back to them and see if they liked it enough to buy it. I was hoping to make some extra cahs that way, plus it would be doing someting that I love and would do anything to make a part of my carreer. Unfortunetely, not everything worked out financially, and I wasn't even able to begin it.
I have some other, non dog art, I'll see if I can fit it onto a post sometime soon.
