Rainforest photographs

I went for a hike in the rainforest yesterday and took some photos with my new camera. I thought you guys would like to see a few of them.

They're more 'arty' than just snap shots, which is why they're in this section.

It was so lovely and misty in there. I'm glad the mist came up in the photos.

My new camera is just a little Canon A720 IS powershot that my dad got me for my birthday. Nothing fancy (although it's a fabulous camera and I love it!). I've got a long way to go to save for that beautiful digital SLR I want. It's kind of difficult to save that amount of cash at the same time as my trip to Tanzania. In the mean time, this camera suits me just fine. I highly recommend it for anyone who just wants a small good quality digi cam.

Where is this rainforest? I'd love to go there (I'm obsessed with rainforests!).

I love your third photo, it's just so amazing.

It's wonderful living only an hour from a rainforest. I LOVED taking photographs there. Actually, just being there was magical and always is. No matter how exhausting the hike is. LOL The particular forest is Dorrigo National Rainforest (I think that's the title they use).

*glances out window at brown, ugly, winter trees* Dang, I wish it would be all green, misty, and humid here. Even the grass is brown. I want color, dang it!

Yeah, I'm pretty lucky where I am right now. I have beaches, bushland and rainforest all close by.

Another reason you should come to Australia.

It looks like a truly magical place. Just breath taking and I'm sure a place like that would be wonderful at soothing the soul. When we go up into the sequoia mts. here, it's the same way, and it makes me feel I have cleansed my soul. Thank you for sharing those beautiful pictures.
