Swiftwind,
I prefer drawing animals as well in my case I dont really have that natural thing going on.
Just lots of practice,critique from other artists and a guy named Mike Sibley sharing his technique with other artists.

Amazing drawing! You are a very, very talented person. Since you didn't list anything at all about you or your dogs, I guess I'll just start with one question. Is Romeo a Havanese?

Mike Sibley is my god when it comes to drawing! My mum bought me his book "Drawing from Line to Life" last year, and it's just amazing! I love it how he signs all his books, it's a nice touch.

Ahh what a cute cross breed, love your drawing, it's brilliant. You must have a lot of natural ability though to do something that good, I wouldn't have a clue even where to start!
