Great Pyrenees! This breed was requested by someone over at DeviantArt.com (my username is SeashoreIsland if you ever want to look me up there!). Great Pyrenees are gorgeous dogs. I've started on 'H' but have a long way to go... I'm drawing a Hovawart.

Please don't use my art for anything other than personal use (eg: desktop background/screensaver). Thanks!

Thank you! It just takes practice and a good graphics program! I'm sure you could do it if you tried.

That looks great !! I agree, Grt. Pyrs are gorgeous dogs.. big ole' teddy bears !

This may be a stupid question, but do you draw and then "clone" paint the fur with a program ? or do you just use the different shades and hues to "make" the fur ? Looks really cool !

Mel, I could *try* drawing Zen, but I may not get him exactly right... I find it a bit hard sometimes trying to draw something exactly right on the computer.

I draw individual strokes for the fur, and then blend and blur, and draw more strokes.. it's a bit of a long process but works well, I think! I use a darker shade first, then a lighter shade.

I like the amount of detail to it. Keep up with your drawing.

Thanks! My Hovawart drawing is coming along really nicely (if I do say so myself). I still have a way to go before I'm finished, though.
