What Breed?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me determine the breed/mix of the dog at http://www.globalpaw.com/pictures/sh...ry.php/cat/589

I would greatly appreciate it!!

Looks like a Labrador mix to me.

But unless you can see the parents, I don't think you'll ever know. Cross breed dogs are unpredicable in appearance, so a mix can produce any number of combinations as far as looks goes. He could very well be a mix of several different breeds.

His mother was a black lab and we have no idea what his father was...
He is 9(going on 10) months old and weighs approx.50lbs....
How big is your puppy? Is it a boy or girl? Did you see the parents?
I would definately say black lab, though...

It's a She...named Callie. We didn't see the parents. We adopted her at 4 months. She turned a year yesterday. She looks exactly like your Wesley. It's pretty clear she has lab in her and we originally thought she could be a pit mix as well. We took her to the vet and the vet insisted she did not see pit but I still think it's possible. We'll never know for sure though. Thanks for the post!!

We originally thought Wesley had pit in him as well, but now as he has grown up more he doesn't look as "pittie" as he did before, but we still think he might have at least a little pit in him, but like you said we'll never know for sure....But whatever Wesley is we love him and same for Callie, she is gorgeous!

Black lab's a given. In the first side profile picture, her face looks like either pit bull or boxer. More the shape than any of the characteristics actually on the face. Whatever she is, she's sure pretty!

Just from the pictures not knowing his age or weight I would guess black lab or pit bull mix (most likely staffy), that is my best guess.

Regardless, she's a very pretty girl, and her and my Zada share the same birthday. Zada was a year old yesterday too.

my cousin has a dog that looks almost exactly like your little girl, he is a lab/pit mix, but much more lab. he is a WONDERFUL dog, as i'm sure your's is. that would be my guess along with most the others.

Lab / Boxer would be my guess ....... but it's only a guess!!
