Valley Bulldogs
For those of you who have never heard of Valley Bulldogs (no one on any of the sites I visit reg. have
 ), here it is:Description: As a mix between the English Bulldog and the Boxer, the Valley Bulldog shows characteristics of each breed. Usually the breed appears as a stocky Boxer with the muzzle of the Bulldog. This breed has a muscular sturdy build, a broad head, thick neck, and a very broad chest and shoulder area. Colors include various brindles, white, black, tan, or red. They have very strong teeth and jaws, and can have either a slight or extreme under bite.The breed is rapidly gaining popularity and recognition. Height: 12 - 25 inches Weight: 50 - 85 lbs (but my boy is only 6mths old and he is already 70lbs!) History/Origin: The origin of the Valley Bulldog can be traced back as early as the 1950's in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada. However, it is uncertain whether or not the breed existed in the area even earlier. Registries: IOEBA (International Olde English Bulldogge Association) Temperament: Valley Bulldogs have an excellent temperament, and can get along with other dogs and children. They are very intelligent and can be taught many things. They love to go for car rides, and are very playfull. They can be very calm, then out of the blue, go on a quick rampage, running and jumping around, then as quick as it started it ends!(very entertaining) As with most Bull breeds, they can be stubborn at times, and should have a dominate owner. looks exactly like a dog we have down at our animal shelter.. we knew it was a boxer mix.. never thought it might be a valley bulldog

Never heard about the Valley Bulldogs before.
How old is the breed? Are there any sites about the breed? They do look beautiful, can't wait to see how they look once they are matured. |

There is a little bit about them on www.bulldogbreeds.com. They can be traced back about 50 or so years. Outside of Canada, they are very rare.

I have never heard of them untill now,they are beautiful!!!The temperement sounds just like a boxer

Not much chance of me meeting one here though
I've never met an American bulldog or a Pit bull either and they are all dogs I know I would love
