Brax makes Semi final photo comp

l have recieved a letter in the mail from America and l am in shock., here's how it goes.


Dear Tybrax,

Let me start by saying Congradulations! YOU DID IT!.
You are now a Semi Finalist in the cutest pet photo contest! After our judging
staff compared your photo to the other enteries we recieved, we unanimously agreed your photo of BRAX will advance to the fianl round of judging.


Tybrax l have got some more good news.

We have also selected your photo to appear in our newest book.
"CUTEST PET OF 2005"
The book will be a collection of some of the cutest pet photo's from around the
world and only the best pet photo's are allowed to apear in theis coffee table edition photo book.

The photo of Brax has qualified and will be one of our "Featured pets" in the book.
In addition very book will have a special "Biography" section.

With your permissiom Brax will appear as one of the curtest pets in the photo book schedulaed for printing in the Fall of 2005 and distibuted to the public in early winter.

Brax is in the running for the $10,000 prize money. Only the cream of the crop
will be included in Cutest pets of 2005.

We recieve the book for half price.

Congratulations!! They said in the letter that the picture would come out in early winter. What's the name of the author?

BUNCHES of people on a greyhound board also made it to the final round and were selected to be in a cutest pet book. I decided to test it out and sent to a few truly bad and certainly UNcute pics of our dogs and lo-and-behold, they ALL made it to the final round and were to be included in the book. I mean, one of the pics was totally out of focus and featured to poop end of a greyhound as it was running by! The pics were BAD! But, apparently good enough to be finalists and to make it into the book.

I don't think its a scam so much as a marketing tool used to sell books. After all, you are much more likely to buy a book of cute dogs if your dog is in it!

Your pup is cute...and you don't need any contest - real or fake - to affirm that!

Yeah, I got one of those too cuz I entered Wesley...At first I was really excited, but then I read more about it and I am pretty sure that it is just another money making thing, because in the letter it says how if you wouold like one of the books, you can purchase it for a "discounted" price of only $40! ("original" price being $65, i think) and how you NEED to buy this book, because only the best dogs get chosen for this...I think that perticular contest is fake...But anyways, your pup is cute no matter what! You don't need a contest to tell you that...

I would be very careful about buying something from someone you don't even know, and are not even sure if they even have the product they are trying to sell. Call the better business bureau and see if they have any information on them.
