Miscellaneous Class/Mutts/Cross Breeds/Other Dogs in the Miscellaneous Class are working toward full AKC recognition. These dogs can compete in some AKC events and earn selected titles.

Oh! And i will have another one soon. I will have to get on the other computer to get her picture, but my cousin's new puppy, Sadie, is just a 2 breed mix. So when i get the pictures onto this computer ill put them up so people can guess if they want!

Ok, here is AJ and Blackie.

We know what Blackie is but I thought it would be neat to see what others think.
Now Aj, we have taken a crack at the possible breeds but we are still not sure.

I dont even have a guess on what Blackie is, im not too good on dog breeds yet. I think i know what A.j. (I like his name, lol, thats my dog's name, too ) is, but only because i read it on one of your other posts so i dont want to spoil it for everyone else!

Well Blackie gets some people when they try to guess the 2 breeds he has in him.. But he is a Pom/Shih-Tzu cross. Some people seem to think Chi and Pom or even Doxie/pom..
Now Aj. The breeds I state on my posts are guesses. We are still trying to pin point possible breeds and as we think, the more we say "Oh, maybe he is mixed with such and such instead" lol. We always get Corgie mix from people tho !

Ok, i said id have more so here they are:


^Winnie
Her size is between a large Chihuahua and a small Beagle. I dont know what her breed is, she is owned by my friend's mom's friend, Ricardo, ive met Winnie once. Her owner is also the owner of A.j.'s brother, Red.


^Barney
This one might be kind of easy, i dont know what everyone knows, though. Barney is about the size of a Pointer. He is a mix of 2 different breeds. He's my neighbor's dog.



^Sadie
This is my little cousin's pup. She is about the size of a Chihuahua but still growing. This one might be easy, too. She is a mix of 2 different but kind of similar breeds.


^Brock
This is my aunt's dog. He is about the size of a smaller Rottwieler. I know my family has always called him one breed, but im not sure if that breed is even allowed to be a pet. I will see what everyone thinks of him.


^Bijou (pronounced Bee-joo)
This is my aunt's other dog. She is about the size of a Bulldog, but less muscular. I know what half of her is and i think a lot of people probably will when they see her picture, but we know she is a mix but no one ever told me the other half.

Ok, thats all i have. Happy breed-guessing!

Oh, thats probably why i didnt know, most of the dog studying ive done was in the bigger dog area (sporting, working, herding). Blackie and Aj are both very cute, though!

Yeah, that's what we conclude all the time "Some short legged breed"lol. We have never got Dachschund mix tho .. It's possible seeing his dam was a Basset Mix and his sire is *supposed* to be a beagle, but they said Ajs mother got loose for a few days, so they are not sure.

Sadie looks like a Parson or Jack Russel mix. She is ever so CUTE!

I can't really tell much about Brock, other than his muzzle is really pointed and fox-ish looking. Can you get more photo of him from the side? Possibly Yellow Lab/German Shepherd?

She is at my local shelter.. She is gorgeous. If I didn't my two I would adopt her.





I hate that she's local and I can't adopt her.. She's been there a month now..*sigh*

Yep, Sadie is half JRT, half another breed, ill still let people guess on her.

I havent been to my aunts for a while because she lives over an hour away, but next time im there i will get a better picture of Brock.
My family has always called him a Dingo, but i dont see how there would be a stray Dingo in a city. I think he is just a mix to make him look kind of Dingo-ish.

Is she part schnauzer then? Now I'm just throwing them out there!

I don't think Brock is a Dingo, he looks too thick. Also, his nose is red, isn't it? Dingo's have black noses and eyeliner.

She's definetely a hound. I don't know how on earth she got complete brindle coloring though... I've only ever seen a completely brindle American Pit Bull Terrier. Does she have Bloodhound or Plott hound in her at all?

It does say hound on her kennel and she's is only 35 lbs. She's 8 months old. Not sure what else. She must be full grown. Must be something else in her. She is beautiful though and so sweet. Those eyes really caught my attention when I went down there for volunteer orientation. Poor dog. I hope she gets a home soon!
