Looking at the new pictures, he's definately not a pure Bearded Collie (could be a cross). He's way too small for a start. But he's adorable.
Could be a cross of anything really. I agree he does look very much like he has Tibetan Terrier in him, but who knows? Could be 12 different breeds in him. Cass. |

I can also see Lhasa Apso in him.
He reminds me of a Polish Lowland Sheepdog as well. LOL ![]() He'd be the right size too. I'm glad you are taking him in to see the vet! I'm sure he'll look and feel much better afterwards! Maybe you can ask the groomer and the vet what they think of his breed. |

Can't help you with the breeds, as I think everyone has already narrowed it down. lol But just like Cass said, you'd be amazed at how many breeds one dog can have in them, and look like just a couple.
He's a cutie, and is probably there cause your female was in heat. They can smell females like that miles away He obviously feels safe there, or else he wouldn't stick around. Glad to hear you're going to get him cleaned up. I bet he'll feel so much better! |

Hey Y'all I should have taken a picture cause you all would not know him lol but the vet said he is about 12lbs under weight due to his bone sticking out. And he was infested with fleas and ticks. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a pic. Vet said he was bad neglected....and thought like me, that someone just dropped him off.
OK picture coming next post. You wont believe it is him. ![]() PS The groomer said he was a mix probably of bearded collie and Lhasa Apso. But aren't Apso's a lot smaller than him in height? The vet said just a sheep dog mix. |

Whoa!!!
He doesn't even look like the same dog. I bet he's glad he's gotten rid of all the matts, ticks and fleas though. Once his coat starts growing in again he'll be adorable once more. LOL So...are you going to keep him? Cass. |

Ah, naked dog!!!! I bet he feels so much better with all of those nasty bugs and mats off of him!
A Lhasa is anywhere from 12-18 lbs, and if a Beardie is 40-60 lbs, then I suppose a cross would be around 30lbs, give or take. You never know with mutts! |
