Pit Bull/Pointer Mix
I would love to hear from others who own such a dog. I adopted Sadie from the Humane Society. She is a year and a month old, and is still all puppy! I'm in the process of taking her to obedience classes, so far her first night she was the class clown.. hehe.. just like her mother!! Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing how others are enjoying their interesting mix, and to see how common this mix is!
Thanks! steph (mom of Sadie) |

I've never owned one, but there was a mix breed that I thought was of that origin that came into work for boarding. (She was either a Pittie/Pointer mix or maybe an American Bulldog/Pointer mix, or something! lol) She was just the sweetest girl and LOVED to play. Her "sister" was a Jack Russel and the Mix (can't remember her name!) would play tug with the JRT. It was so funny to watch!
She was really pretty too - was black with a white tip on her tail and a white chest, neck, and feet. She had a big ol' block head with blue eyes. Just a stunning dog. Her owner's said she was a Collie mix. *rolls eyes* Ya, okay. Must have been breed restrictions where they lived. |

This is Nyla...she is my friends pit/pointer mix.
![]() She is a ball of energy, definitely has the tenacity of a terrier - if she could play tug all day she would, but when it's time to cuddle up she will. ![]() You can't ever tell with mixes though...it's kind of a crap shoot. Best of luck with your Sadie, she's a cutie! |
